On a train from Stralsund

We took an 8eur trip from Stralsund to Berlin. "What a deal!" we thought. We also thought it was a carpool since neither of us can read German. Turns out it was a 3 hour train ride that makes stops at all the small cities. 

Berlin is too crime

The server at Rugen was from Berlin, but he has moved to Rugen Island permanently. Being a city girl, I don't understand why one would want to live on a beach island with nothing but trees and water, and very little city-things. So we asked him, what was wrong with Berlin, and he said it was "too crime." What does that even mean? 

crossing the Ostsee

I've been yearning for the sea. There's something about the wind and the waves and the fresh air combing through your hair. It was a ten minute ride between Stralsund and Rugen, but it was almost perfect. 

three on a bike

One girl said she was going to bike from P-berg down to K-berg while the rest of us took the Ubahn. Why not all three of us just go together on the bike? "Impossible," said one girl to the next. We asked our seasoned cyclist at work the next day and her response was, "of course it's possible, one sits on the bars, and the other stands and pedals, and the third sits on the seat." 

If this is true then technically, we could also fit a fourth on the back...
